a camera that has good low-light performance but isn’t a D-SLR. I am looking at
Canon Powershot SX120IS
Sony Cybershot DSC W290
Fujifilm Finepix F72EXR
Canon PowerShot D10
My price range is about $250 but it can be around $300 if necessary. Are these good options and if not what other one is? Which one of these or another is the best? I want to take pictures of moving cars and might not always have a tripod! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone!
There is two waterproof cameras that considered the best as of today:
Canon PowerShot D10 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS1

But soon (maybe in march 2010) Panasonic is going to release new version of his camera – Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2

Which is much improved comparing to its older model and also better than D10.
Its been a year since Canon released D10, does anyone know when they going to release new waterproof camera?
Thanks

So I have this camera, Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP Waterproof Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5-inch LCD. It says its waterproof up to 33 feet. My mother said that I need to buy a case for it to go underwater since I might ruin it. But, I don’t think so because its made to go underwater. But, I don’t want to risk it. Please help!

I have both a canon powershot and canon works very well when taking photos. I also have a lumix that’s very versatile and also takes good pics. So, I’m kinda leaning towards both sides. I live on Guam and go out to the beach a lot and also hiking and stuff into the jungles and whatnot. So what do you think is a good camera? Which is the better camera, and you must reason with me why you say so. Oh yeah, I am DONE with Olympus cameras. Too many errors with Xd cards and Olympus is just sad. So…. Panasonic and Canon have both proved faithful, the question is, which one is better?
