Is the Canon PowerShot D10 safe in salt water or not?

I’ve lost several digital cameras due to water damage and now I am looking into investing in this camera. Just want to know if this camera would be safe in salt water or not? Most of the camera tests I have seen have been in swimming pools with regular water.
