In the instructions the warning is that the microphone (because it is so small due to it being an underwater camera) doesn’t pick up sound as well as other cameras so the audio may be low and muffled. So, I was surprised and pleased by the quality of the sound. And the quality of the picture is good too. This is my first video with the Canon Powershot D10 Underwater Camera. All settings are on automatic. I have ZERO camera knowledge and don’t know how to tweak any of the cameras settings. I bought this camera on eBay for around 310.00 to take on our cruise to the Cayman Islands in August 2009. We plan on doing snorkeling, swimming with dolphins and all other kinds of water activities so I thought it would be good to have a good waterproof camera to commemorate the trip.
